I made a mold to make these urethane foam trunk caddies for my charger. But everyone convinced me that it's a limited market and wouldn't sell. They are held down to the trunk floor with strong neodymium magnets. And a tab that slides into the slot between the quarter panel and the trunk floor...
If I'm not mistaken. Back in the day. Chin spoilers were available through the Direction Catalog for the 2nd generation chargers. But I haven't been able to find a original or reproduction one to buy. So I bought the cheap camaro one and haven't bolted it on yet.. As for it sagging ! I'm not...
Why you ask? Why not? As I said in my initial post. Out of boredom. And some of us like to tinker. And the plastic was easy to machine and flame polish. = fun!
I saw the cool view a while ago. Classic industries has them for $116. Then add tax and shipping. I'm sure they used proper materials so it will last. Mine was free. with plastic I found in my garage. Cool!

In the market for a new flip top gas cap and ring for my 69 r/t and the AMD website has a vented and non vented gas cap. I'm guessing I need the non vented gas cap?. Due to the existing hard vent line that runs along the filler tube into the frame rail.
Or does it need to be double vented? Or...
Antenna base Update! Machined a s/s nut and the antenna mounted on the car works. But when the mast extends fully, this tube rises up. And when the mast retracts. This tube remains up about 1.5" . I can remove it. Or push it down. But it will be a pita to push it down every time i use it. Will...
I had ok results. Make sure the hot glue has cooled before pulling. It has its limits. It's good for dents that are smooth without a hard crease.
Just my experience.
Copper has slightly more heat conductivity than aluminum. Copper is expensive and aluminum is cheaper. So I went with a thicker aluminum radiator. With a factory shroud and clutch fan here in Florida.
