Just for clarification here, is the electric pusher feeding the carburetor through the inoperative pump on the motor? Maybe the pushrod on the mechanical pump is bad?

Just tossing this out, some tachs need a filter or something to work with MSD boxes. Maybe called something else but corrects the signal.

The sniper directions refer to turning the key on and waiting for a few seconds while the pump primes and then the injectors wet the intake. The sniper 2 is an improvement and mine starts right up even after sitting for two months.

Yes I did put a return spring on the lever on the transmission. The lokar cable reverses the operation so there needs to be a spring on the lever instead of at the throttle because the cable pulls the lever back instead of the rod pushing it back.

Just a suggestion for you guys. Can you get a mockup model of the engine and transmission to set in the car and see what needs to be addressed?? Might be worth the investment to be able to sort out some of the problems. Some later b body parts may work with some modifications.
