Law Enforcement apprehends a ‘Bad Guy’ FBBO member at Carlisle

In the great deep blue state of CT cops cannot pull anyone over move "defective equipment" such as a tail light. the legislature decided it was racial profiling.

    Electrical troubleshooting VDO gauges

Kind of off topic for Mopar, but I know there's a big knowledge base on this site. My best friend has a boat with VDO oil pressure gauges. Unfortunately, when he pulled the engines he discarded the original sending units and replaced them with new ones that were supposed to be compatible. The...

    Impressive!!!

Not impressive when your range drops by 1/3 when the weather get cold, not impressive is range anxiety or waiting like a dope for hours to charge it up, not impressive is replacing the expensive tires every year or so, and not impressive is replacing the batteries when they wear out.

Decline of Car Culture in America (video)

Great video! Some really eye-opening surveys in there. 8 hours of screen time for teenagers is a really scary statistic. We've lost most of future generations, I fear. As car enthusiasts we should try to mentor at least one young person.

    Turbine brochure

Aside from the turbine technology, the body and interior design was spectacular. Puts to shame the domestic auto designers in recent history. Those guys where artists back then.

    440 pulley question- no ac

I believe the issue is with the crank pulley. I need #3614378 or #2946789 which is 7- 5/16” x 3” deep. The one I have is staggered holes but very different dimensions.

    440 pulley question- no ac

I thought I had the right pulleys for my 1969 non-ac w/ power steering 440 build. The water pump pulley is 6-7/8” and the crank pulley is 6-3/4”. They are very close together and the alignment is off about a 1/4”. Do I have the wrong water pump pulley, crank pulley or both?

Any shops in CT to run my new 440 on a stand?

I did speak to Bill senior in person about a month or so ago. I agree he was extremely knowledgable and gave me some great advice. I felt really confident when i left that they were the best choice. At that time he said he was backed up a few weeks and that was perfectly fine since I wasn’t...

Any shops in CT to run my new 440 on a stand?

Ron. Thank you, yes that is what I'm looking for. I've talked to them (Bill) at Auto Service in Old Saybrook a few weeks ago and he is a very knowledgable Mopar guy. I'm not sure what's going on now because my calls go unanswered. Maybe they're too busy, or something else? Too bad because it...
