It looks like your carpet has a grommet on the high beams switch. Is that still the original carpet? I’ve heard it said Plymouth didn’t install grommets? Just wondering what the truth is as I’m getting ready to install new carpets in my 67
Could also be symptoms of a failing coil - fires OK cold and starts dropping voltage as it heats up. Probably not a bad condenser (assuming you have points). They will act up cold or hot.
We are up to 29 verified tornados so far in Arkansas for the year. And they are still verifying some others from last week. One from last week is suspected of being the widest path ever recorded in AR but I can’t find a pinned down number for it - I’ve seen 4500 ft and 1.8 miles for width. I...
My cars get a few hundred miles a year and set in a garage with heat/AC the rest of the time while I work on one or the other. Not dumping tires after 5 years based on some study for daily drivers.
I need to check my 10 year old Mickey Thompsons on my Cobra. Same basic tire as the Cooper Cobra. That’s a shame. My MTs are the best tires I’ve used on my older cars.

It’s kind of questionable they take your money, acknowledge you placed an order, and then don’t...
My 67 GTX has more bondo in it than I appreciate. One lower quarter has been replaced and looks like a fairly nice, butt-welded repair. The other side has some crap in it right behind the wheel well that I can feel down in the trunk drop off. The guy I bought it from said it had damage there...
I wonder if your carb is flooding out into the engine. Your AFR suggests that as a possibility. Have you checked your float levels? But a greater possibility may be a leaky needle and seat. A high fuel level in the bowl will syphon down somewhat when you kill the engine. And the as you...
Here is what I made for torquing the pinion nut. Made from spare angle iron. Bolts to the pinion flanges. That’s the pinion nut and socket for it in between the forks. No problem holding it from turning.
