    Cant find vibration

    Check the trans to bellhousing bolts. I had same problem and it was Trans bolts just a little loose. Tightened up bolts vibration gone.

    How do I eradicate a nest of yellow jackets, safely.....

    I just had this problem last week. I put 10% strength seven dust. Use a putty knife or something and put about a spoon full in the hole. They'll be dead in 1 to 2 days. Do it at night! They track the dust to the nest and then they'll die.

    Possible to install ‘wrong’ balancer?

    Yes it is possible. I bought a charger years ago. It had just a slight vibration when you rev it up. I checked the numbers. It was a 69 383 with steel crank "internal balance" but it had cast crank balancer. I changed the balancer to a internal balance. Problem solved. Smooth as silk when revved up.
