I'm working on the parts to convert the standard dash in my 72 SSP cloned into a RR.
I have a 74 dash assembly with 120 speedo and oem tach.
I have a 72 charger wiring harness for a rallye dash with the oem clock.
and my 72 car.
Questions in no particular order:
1. is the black with tracer wire...
The .78 isn't what I would choose and at the same time the .63- .68 creates a huge drop in some others.
I hate that in my TKO. I know they make the close ratio one as well.
I have a500 in my fury behind the turbo 383.
If you don't have insane power levels it's an option that fits without cutting in b bodies as well. Requires the bell housing work as above. Vacuum and pressure switch controlled.

You'll see 18hp for headers, another 12 for carb, another 40 for intake, and then another 49 for big cam.

That 1966 afb is going to be the literal bottleneck however. I wouldn't pay big money for any non oem intake with that carb unless it's been worked by a stock class racer.
I would have trouble paying that money for a mystery gen II hemi in a Belvidere/satellite.
And the redeye is more than likely going to really embarrass that gen II...

If you have a battery charger hook that up and turn key to run to see if you hear the noise. Should be easier to hear without the engine running
When it starts missing there's no cleaning it out? It's not flooding out and you can clear it out with a couple stabs?
Sticky float or crap in the seat maybe, and it evaporates when you let it sit and then the fuel pump overfills it again?
Or you're saying you turn off and immediately refire...
