I use Resolve carpet cleaners spray on the dirty portions and a brush to work it in. Then clean water spray while wet vacuuming it up. Stop spraying the clean water and finish by completing the wet vacuuming. This methods works well. @Bee1971
I took apart seats and carefully separated each of the cover’s panels. Used the panels as templates for the new material (purchased from an upholstery shop). The wife sewed them together and I reinstalled them. You can do this by simply replacing the worn out panels instead of all of them...
I paid just last month, $600 for a 1970 RR bench seat with improper (needing replacement anyway) covers and no headrests. $800 easy is a good deal w/o shipping.
There should be two steel loops sticking out at the bottom side of the seat back. A screw with a large washer should be installed at each loop to the trunk divider steel frame. My seat back was unfastened there for many years without issue.

As I recall, Mopar sued the make of the rubber Roadrunner mats for copyright infringement, so they stopped making them. Maybe the carpeted version maker stopped then too?
I’ve done this twice with perfect success. This was on a 1968. I don’t recall having any difficulties whatsoever and I took no special precautions, other than handling it gently.
