In mid-sixties I saw a two-door Polara in a used car lot. The paint was a deep maroon with a maroon mixed with red interior. It was a beautiful car aside from the front bumper brackets had rotted off and the bumper was nowhere to be found. But was impressed by it's over the top styling. That huge rear window and there were tail lights in the trailing edge of the rear fins. So far I have only ever seen two other ones on the classic car circuit. These beauties have to rare.

I never liked that body style of dodge cars, but the wagon rocks !

On a trip, with friends, to California in 2001, for the Mopar Spring Fling, we stopped by Pearsonville Auto Salvage out in the Mojave Desert. I asked about this faded blue Matador (with white roof) and was told that it was sold to someone in Maryland. Judging by the wear of the paint on the tailgate, I'm pretty certain its the same car.
