I had a few people ask me for some pics on how I did my linkage up, so here they are. The large bracket holding the cable up in the air came off a Dodge van at the junkyard, just heated the sucker up and bent it to the right angle. Hope this helps some of you guys upgrading to a 4 barrel.

Here's the picture of the bracket.

These two are of the stock 2 barrel setup.

I would suggest Jim's 62-76 engine fuel parts 603-898-0535... not that what you have won't get you out of the woods and I've been there it's $200 to get all the right stuff for a 340 4bbl

I agree, If you have the money, spend it on the correct setup for sure. But if on a budget like I was building your own was way more cost effective, spent $5 and an afternoon hooking it all up. And thanks for the phone number, I'll be sure to get the correct linkage setup from them in the future!

I got mine from ebay..... Jappe a member on here is wanting to go from 2bbl to 4 bbl on a poly 318 so I wanted to throw it out there.... for some reason I can't post anything on here with information about # to call or message him.... 1/2 theses guys work for summit or jegs or who ever and I'm pissing on there market place.... not the first time.... the only problem I see with you're set up is the S hook I would remake it so it closes and can't jump off there if you're foot slipped off the pedal. As long as it pushes the rod all the way back... throttle position lever.

Yeah, I had to make that quick to get the car home out of storage, my original S-hook I made had square ends and I put little clips on to keep it in place. Unfortunately it disappeared when I went to rebuild the carb and I'll probably find it years from now in a drawer in the garage! :naka:
