I have just reduced the price on my GTX. This 1968 Plymouth GTX 440/375 4-Speed Convertible is a numbers-matching 104k mile example which was sold new in Canada as a special order. The car came to the US in 1987, and was restored in 2003. The car was kept in dry storage for a period following the restoration after the owner passed away. Actual production numbers indicate that 375 total GTX 4-Speed convertibles were made for 1968, and GTX convertibles were only available from '67-'69 (none in 70). This GTX has been repainted in its original Bright Red (PP1) to match the factory option list on the fender tag.
Some minor alterations from stock are present in the cabin, including speakers installed in the rear side panels and dual speakers in the dash. The original three-spoke steering wheel with horn ring is included with the sale in addition to the 3-spoke simulated wood grain with horn button currently fitted that is an optional accessory. The original AM radio is still in place, though the seller has modified it with external outputs and FM capability.
The 440CI V8 is original to the car, and is mechanically stock apart from an Edelbrock carburetor fitted by the seller. The previous owner replaced the car's main wiring harness, and the seller has fitted a new correct Accurate exhaust system, four new Bilstein shocks, the Antique OEM replacement battery, and new BF Goodrich 70 series redline radial tires. The engine (behind the intake manifold) and transmission's (middle) data pads show 8G169306, which matches the last eight digits of the car's serial number. The radiator core support and trunk lip metal have matching numbers to the shipping order number A05932 on the fender tag making this car completely numbers matching.

The seller will include thirty detailed photos of the restoration in a photo album with the sale. Also upgraded were front disk brakes that have been added.
The current owner spent over 3 years searching the country for a car like this. It's rarity and finding one in this condition made that task very difficult. Driving this car on warm summer days with the top down and 4 on the floor can't be beat.

If there anything else you would like to see I have many more pictures I can send you.

Hagerty Price Guide indicates a value of $65,300 for a #2 car and $42,500 for a #3 with a 10% bump for a 4 speed. This car is not quite a #2 and I have priced it accordingly. Others I have spoken with, upon inspection, confirm my assessment.

Do you have the build sheet?

Looks really nice. You may have to post some under car photos too. If the bottom is as nice as the top, I think it should sell for your asking price (if you can find a buyer that has the money?)

One thing that's missing is the build sheet. I do have a Govier fender tag decoding.
