71 to 74 Big Block B Body Drive Shaft

Gathering cheap used parts where I can find them. Craigslist has the one mentioned above. I'm swapping out the 67' Belvender 318/904 drive train in the future and was wondering about measurements. Is the two factory drive lengths the same? Or is the BB shorter? My thought was to use the measurement off the existing drive shaft (318/904) to use it to compare to the Craigs shaft length. Yes or No?

The BB should be shorter due to the longer BB auto trans
