We have two feet of snow with white out conditions in some areas. Temps is the low 20's all day. Some ski resorts are going to stay open until July 4th.

Really just 2 feet of snow or is that 2 more feet of new snow?
Things must be getting back to normal!

2 feet of new snow. Started Friday at 5. Still snowing 24 hours later.

89 deg Fahrenheit and breezy today in Savannah, Georgia. It has been toasty this week and warmer than normal this month.
This means two things:
(1) the gators are very active.
(2) there will be a bumper crop of biting and stinging insects this year.

My motorcycle club went on it's first ride yesterday in Mpls. 51 degrees and partly sunny. Had flurries two days earlier.

Ya gotta love that GLOBAL WARMING, but from my Colorado experience that 2 foot of snow could melt away in a couple days. It's still disheartening this late in April. Keep your head up!

Here we are 10+ *'s less than normal temps, for months on end now
& far cooler/wetter than normal, for the past few (4) months...
Our wettest/most rainy days way too many days with over an 1" a day
some 60+ days in a row too, some days 4"- 6+"s a day which for here is rare...
We never really/rarely have that kind of cold/winter...
Certainly isn't global warming here, I ain't buying the BS/propaganda...
I don't believe any of the **** the news spews or our alleged scientists claim,
it's a green hoax & all for grants & funds, we are usually an dry state by nature...
Not this season, not at all...
We've also had the coldest/snowiest Winter/Spring in 20 years...

It goes in cycles here, every 3-7 or so years...
Some years are worse than others, this years been cold, not warm,
it's been like that now off & on for the past 8 or so years...
Not warming, if anything we're cooling...
A average year here is 30 days of precipitation 300+ of sunshine,
it is an arid state, we are called the golden state because of the golden
grass colored areas all around the state...
Not this year we've had 100-120+ days of cooler wetter weather,
yes we needed it too...
We are in a perpetual drought constantly, the news acts like it's not normal,
what we have now/this year is not really normal...

I edited/added content;
Water wasters/abusers all in the valley, SF, LA & all the big shity's,
area all big issues/problems, along with our horrid water management
by the political class, that use our water as a weapon, selfishly all
for their bias/hypocritical political agenda...
But that's a whole different subject altogether...

I can't wait to get back to the rare occasional rain storm &
truly the sunny California weather I love...
It's the only reason I still live here...

Mother Nature is a fickled & cruel bitch sometimes...

I live north of you (in oregon) and am feeling the same weather systems as you. It has been a long winter for us all on the west coast.--Cold (in the thirties) and wet.
The up side is we don't feel the extremes like hurricanes, tornados, high hot humidity, and feet of snow like we all hear about up front on the news all the time. It's always the bad news that we see and it is always someplace that I am not.
I like the seasons changing here and know I would miss it if I lived where it was a boring 70-80 degrees every day.

The "snow -(flakes)" ---(and/or climate change fear mongers/ paranoids)that are going to be in charge of building their own house may do well to gather their nuts for their winters like we all do. Maybe they should build domes over themselves so they can make the air they breathe and temp to their likeing. (they seem to like who they are and perhaps want to stop evolution for themselves).
The rest of us could go about our lives in the world we evolved to live in and scratch our heads at those that chose to hibernate year around in a pod like the bubble boy.

With what we have now---"climate change" is a go to term that covers all possible opposition.---"they"-- gain a never ending out to conversation with that term. "They" are smug with it.
Any change noted --is because of humans. We are poopers by nature. We **** in our nest.
It will not matter a spit in the wind about what the weather does.--For some it will always be humans as being the evil infection.
Maybe that has something to do with the balance of nature?

When we hear about folks blowing them selves up for the greator good (in their mind) it makes me think about lemmings? They (the lemmings)cull themselves very well without impacting the rest of the world.

I used to live there for about 10 years. I miss those Spring storms. It'll be gone before you know it! Of course I went to the beach today in 80 degree weather so it's easy to say .....
