That is why you must rescue it and make things right. May the Force be with you!

You're in Vermont and there is no snow on the ground? Old picture?

No. Not my car. No clue where it is. Just saw the flip front on it, a 66 Coronet and wondered to myself, hmmmmm.......could I do that? Only one I have ever seen like this..

I guess the air cleaner keeps the hood from opening?

Lexan windshield?
Yeah, and the dash is a bunch of welded wire with the gauges behind the wire in the center. Strange....

The only way I can see this sort of thing working on this model is a full tubular frame. Those flimsy inner panels being divorced from the fenders and the radiator frame cant be a good thing. I'll bet that he built it and then found out the first time he put his foot in the carb that it twisted like a pretzel...

I don't really feel you lose much structural integrity at all. K member holds everything together. He also probably tied front frame horns together where flip pivot is, we always did ( had a couple flip front GM's, still have one), to take place of side to side bumper support. But lots of guys run fiberglass front bumpers ! Fenders aiding in support of unibody twist ???? Not much I would guess.

When I first saw the post I thought you meant should I buy the car , yes was my thought and correct the front and drive the hides off it .
If your going to do a flip front end nope don't do it but it's your car. ..
