Reading through some older posts this morning, and decided to throw this tidbit of information out there.
I know that it's generally considered impossible to purchase the "correct" trim clips for the rear window of these cars. As you know, the rear window utilizes two different clips. One can be found anywhere and everywhere, but the other.. the larger of the two, is not listed anywhere. You will not find them listed from any of the usual sources.
After doing some considerable digging, sending emails, making phone calls etc, I did manage to find these clips in stock at one outfit. This particular clip was not listed in their catalog either, but there was a note stating that not all of their available inventory is shown, and that you should call for more information, which I did.
I initially emailed them the a copy of the first image below; telling them that I was looking for the yellow clip on the left, along with the year, make and model of the car, etc.. I received a reply shortly thereafter asking how many I needed, along with the usual contact information.
This was a 2 or 3 years back, so I can't say whether or not they still have these in stock, but if someone needs them, a phone call wouldn't hurt.
I think Todd over at Todd's Restorations was working on this issue as well.
