I obtained a console (not for this car Ford my guess '80's vintage) I'm working to install in my '63 Plymouth, about 20 things to do to make this work; but giving it a go. The console has four indicator lights originally for low washer fluid, fuel, door ajar, & head lights. I want to convert to show blinkers, head, and brake lights. My question is, if anyone has done this trick, I'd like to know any experiences you had pro & con doing this. I know it's a matter of splicing into the wires for each of these; but something tells me there's more to be concerned about than I might be thinking...oversimplifying in my head. Current draw, added grounding needed, fusing, etc. Any tips or encounters for me to avoid or know about...would like to hear.
Thx!
