Living and growing up in Minnesota I don’t ever remember a snow day or a cold day off. It was what it was

Yeah, I remember that blizzard too! Of course being a kid at the time, I thought it was fun. I lived in Alaska before then for 3 years and I don’t recall ever getting off from school due to a snow storm.

And all we had were carburetors and chokes.
None of this fancy smancy fuel injection stuff.

Yeah, I remember that blizzard too! Of course being a kid at the time, I thought it was fun. I lived in Alaska before then for 3 years and I don’t recall ever getting off from school due to a snow storm.

I was living in Maryland and it looked like Alaska for a week or two!

Kids do get a lot more snow days then we did as kids . Here they also get PD (professional development day ) for teachers to prepare lessons I think there are 5 of those as well each year plus the regular holidays .

We had a few snow days every year, but they were legit. And fun!
