Throttle Bracket 440?

My project is a 67' Belvedere that I replaced the three eighteen with a four forty.

The throttle cable I bought off Classic Industries and the bracket from eBay. The bracket fit the intake well, but the cable appears to
be an inch too long. Did I get a Hemi cable by mistake?

Hemi has a short cable, and a regular V8 won't work.

I got a throttle cable from Rick Erenberg off Ebay. It's a little over 21 inches and works fine.

I haven't gotten that far, I only have the cable mount which looks like yours, and the cable. My cable measures just the ridged part, twelve inches, from the firewall including the ferrel. Many thanks for he picture.
