I am hearing a tic tic tic from the engine that I would describe as a tappet or lifter noise. Anyone know how I can go about addressing this issue??? I have never had a 318 apart before.

I know some of the big blocks have this option, but not sure about a small block. The reason I ask is because when in park and I rev the engine a bit, I feel a bit of a shudder which seems like an out of balance issue to me.
