Thank you sire, good eye... I just checked and it's not rubbing, I can get 2 fingers between it and the line. What you see is actually the blue paint from when I welded in the Z-bar mount and painted it.
(I'm glad it's not rubbing, it's been that way for over 18yrs!)
You can get them at most auto parts stores, including RockAuto. Lares is the rebuilder, part number 1030
Bought one years ago from them, no problems with it.
Ebay inspectors are like the guys that write up the auctions on BAT or any of the "classic car dealers". They have to make the car sound better than it is in order for people to want to buy it.
I would if buying a car sight unseen, especially if throwing a lot of coin down not only for the car, but also the cost to get it there. Way too many people been burned by pictures not telling the true story and less than scrupulous sellers
With the exchange rate the way it is, I love buying parts in Canada... rear sway bar for my truck at wrecking yards: $2-300 US. Got one from LKQ in London for $65US. Hood for my truck from dealer is $1400 US, bought it from dealer in Hamilton for $650, which is same price junkyards want...
It's called CUSMA... Here's how to figure if you pay duty or not. And remember, tax is based on Canadian dollars, not the country buying from.

One thing people forget, is CBSA figures value on Canadian dollars, not on what it cost in US. so that $1K US part is taxed at $1300 CDN, and top that with HST (if applicable to your province), and duty, it can be quite pricey.
Friend bought a bolt of cloth for $20... to ship was another $60... CBSA said nothing when I told them of it. All they were concerned about was alcohol, tobacco and firearms.
In my 18yrs of crossing, as long as you are 100% honest with them, they'll let you thru . Try to hide, and they'll...
it all depends on the CBSA's mood at the time. I hd to pay duty on a $350 TV I was bringing in as a Christmas gift, bringing in $400 worth of Corvette parts.. nothing.
One thing to remember, CBSA determines the amount on Canadian currency. So if you buy a $100US part, it's assesed at $130...
When I did my conversion 9yrs ago on my 66/7 here were the part numbers I used.. May not be available stil, but check various part stores/rock auto to see.
Calipers: Raybestos FRC2067 (left) and Raybestos FRC2068 (right) (if you or someone moved the calipers to the rear to allow for a sway...
Normal.. my light goes off after about 3 seconds then the gauge starts showing pressure. Gotta remember, the oil sender is as far away from pump as possible, and it can take a bit to buld up displayed pressure. unlike modern pumps that have sending unit mount right on the output of the pump...
