I have no problem with the column shift, my road runner came that way and it didn't slow me down. And the lack of tachometer would be more important with a manually shifted car. I really like the colour combo.

Exhaust under the transmission won't be unfamiliar to anyone with an H pipe that goes under the transmission. I changed an O2 sensor once, it wasn't hard. But I've never bought a brand new vehicle yet, and likely won't in future.

I guess if you buy a new truck in the future, that will be what the underpinnings look like, whether it's ICE or electric. It's already under the 2025 Ram 1500, Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer.
