Thinking about removing the homemade connectors on my RR this winter and trying the US Cartool models along with their torque boxes. For you guys that have put these on your car, how big of a deal is getting the e-brake, brake, and fuel lines run through or around them?
Can't find any exact measurements for the placement of the tail stripe. I would think a dimension from the back of the stripe to the backside of the decklid would be standard? I would think the Bee should be centered on the body line and the rear reflector centered in the stripe, but that...
Just dug out the arms that came with my 69 Bee to clean them up and see there are extra shields on them. Other than that they are exactly the same as a spare set I have. Would these have been factory installed on my car?
I bought a new air cleaner base and top from PG Classic and am not sure I like the color of it. The new one is darker/more reddish than the 50 year old original. What kind of paint are you guys using on these lids?
Anybody know where to buy this air shield that bolts to the lower radiator support? Ran across this pic in my 69 Dodge service manual. Checked my Plymouth manual and it also shows one. Neither my Bee or Road Runner has them.
I just received a pair of handles from Dale's for my 69 Be and noticed that the ball stud bracket on the passenger side is reversed from the original. Looks like it will work fine by just flipping over the rod clip, but I dont remember having to do that on my other cars. Anybody else noticed...
Met a guy at a party last night and we got to discussing old cars. Turns out he has 20 mostly muscle cars in a warehouse. He is a Chevy guy but does have 2 Mopars. He got me interested when mentioning that one was a 68 Charger that is painted the same color as the Dukes car. I have never...
Been searching around this site, abodies, and the web to find an answer, but no luck. I believe that 70 columns worked the same regardless of body style. I have a 70 Duster that came with manual steering and a 3 speed on the floor. I am upgrading to a 4 speed and keeping the manual steering...
A buddy stopped over with his just completed Cuda project to check a couple of things over while on my hoist. We finished our 2 cars within days of each other.
Does anybody out there with a 69 Charger know exactly where these shields go? I bought these along with all the other gaskets and weather stripping for the car, but can't seem to figure out what they attach to.
I am getting ready to clean up and install everything that goes inside the doors on my 69 Charger project and ended up with these 2 extra parts that I can't seem to find a place for. Do they even go to my car, or am I missing a pair for the other side?
I also ordered these slides...
Do any of you guys have an idea as to where this bracket should go, or even if it is for a 69 Charger? I had 2 69's apart at the same time and also some parts from a 70 Charger laying around. This ended up on my shelve with parts for my 69 project and I cant for the life of me figure out what...
1969 Charger T3 with tan vinyl top. Tan interior with T3 interior door frames. Does anybody have a car or picture of one like this? I bought a project car and am trying to decide if I want to make a color change from stock. I always liked T5 on these cars. I would restore the interior in...
I am restoring a 69 roadrunner with non console 4 speed. Sometime in the past the original hurst shifter stick was cut off and welded in a short straight stick. I bought a new shifter mechanisem and stick from hurst. The problem is they only come one way, which has the double radius bend...
