I switched to using Rice Bran oil several years ago. Higher flash point and a much cleaner taste than Peanut oil.
Also I like to have my oil about 375-400 degrees when you first drop the turkey in, as the temperature will drop 50 degrees pretty fast. Then you can readjust the flame.

Getting ready to bend new rocker panels for my Hornet. The stock ones rusted out because the car had full width factory stainless steel rocker panel trim that allowed dirt and moisture to get trapped behind them.

I drive a 2008 C6 a lot and I tell people all the time, It's the best bang for the buck that $25,000 will buy you.

You can drive them in all weather while having heat and AC, but...

I know it's probably a long shot here, but I am looking for a good solid, stock roller (I don't necessarily need the drivetrain) complete car, or a driver. No junk please.
I am also not looking for someones previous street rod project. I want a stock car unless it's like the last photo...
I built a Midget 15 years ago with a Mazda 13B engine, and Tilton pedals. Enkei RPF1 rims in 16" x 8" with Michelin Pilot Sports.
Loved the car, but I didn't fit in it, as I am too tall. Sold it to a friend that's only 5'4" and he fits in it fine.

Since the OP asked about 8-3/4 specifically.
Unless you have an overdrive a 3.23 is a nice all around ratio that is driveable and works in most situations.
Now, off topic I like using Dana 61's because you get the Dana look and can have 3.07 & 3.31 ratios.
I've had two pickups with the...
