Next up on the project list: 69 Super Bee, the steering column blew apart (see pic) adter i replaced the signal switch…. Must have finished it off when hammering the wheel puller. Is it recommended to replace with stock coupler or after market?
Thanks in advance
Getting ready to work on the steering box leak.....looks like the column has to be pulled back. Anyone know what size that dowel pin is so I can co e up with proper size punch to knock it out?
Also, is it straight or tapered? Only in and out one way?
In near future I'll be attempting to remove my PS box from 69 Bee, which leaks like a siv, there are many pricey choices for a replacement, and wondered if the rebuilt Cardones are any good?
After lots of search, found a few threads on this subject. And there were answers to the issues. I have many projects going on this 69 Super Bee, including al new brakes. Tge rears were not even touching the drums, got that fixed. Moved to the front, where when driving up the driveway, BARELY...
As i jacked front of the car up in the air to replace front brakes….overnight, next morning there is big pool of power steering fluid on floor under the steering box… just dripping out like crazy. I know zip about steering boxes, but assume there’s a seal towards rear of the box needing...

If I decide to try this power steering box I have, and found used pump on Ebay , is there somewhere I can get just the steering main shaft? Am told I will need to change since manual steering has different length shaft?

Thanks in advance
Regarding getting some rearend lift, Ive narrowed down to either ESPO +2", OR Mopar SS 2 right sides springs........wondering which will give more lift?
Hi folks, I have 69 RR, drum brakes all around, all shoes, drums, hardware in excellent shape.
When braking, I get a slight pull to the left....So I proceeded to bleed entire system, didn't find any air...spun up the adjuster on right side a bit to maybe "even out front braking"...nothing...
