Reviewing a ton of pictures on the Web for Stock 426 hemi cars I see a lot of different orientations of the distributor and wire location on the cap.
If you follow the Manual procedure for timing the Distributor you do wind up with the Prestolite Vacuum chamber pinched between intake manifold...
I am trying to find a Transignitor setup or old SS set up. I have the Dual Point Mechanical distributor for a hemi, but would like to display what the Performance upgrade would be. These items do not need to work.
Does anyone know the Cam stop code for the 426 hemi versus the 440 or 440 6pack motors for 1969 cars? I have a few loose cam stops and I am trying to decipher the stamp code.

I am having a confusing problem with the front Driver Flasher. First of all, the turns signals work correctly all four corners including dash and hood turn signal lights.
Move to flashers and only the Front Right and both Back will flash. Not the driver front, or the dash or hood left turn...
4spd car and I noticed that the column case just below the steering wheel gets warm to hot when driving. Lower end of column is cool. The electrical is positioned under this area. Is this normal? Not sure what can cause that amount of heat without some sort of failure of the electrical...
