Should I repair the factory gauges of?

I had a temporary voltmeter conversion while redoing my charging system. I used a volt gauge label from whitegauges.net and used a broken rallye ammeter with the voltage label and glued it to the voltmeter and glued on the needle. Worked great. In some cases, the labels can look pretty...

    What's it Worth 70 GTX

To end the story...I told the seller I was sending an inspector and that he would contact him...the inspector called the next day and the seller said he was leaving the country for 10 days--but never told me!!. I passed on the car--he can keep it if he wants to play games. I decided I am keeping...

Beep-Beep Horn replacement of horn button parts

Great idea! On my way to Harbor Freight to buy some spreaders (snap ring pliers) which I will never use again but might come in handy to have around. Will let you know how it works out. Thanks again for the info.

What did you do to your Mopar today?

I had to take the HP manifolds back off the 440 and re-seal the studs. The good industrial thread sealer I thought would seal anything got steam cleaned outa there after 800 miles. They all have #2 spermatex on them now.

1970 Rally dash woodgrain reproduction benzel sets PG classic or Laytons?

Be it from China or not, it's all about the design. There are several excellent products made in China, but designed by and shipped from the US. I would love to see images of the crummy wood grain, so I can decide for myself.

    69 charger plastic grille restoration

So I’ve restored the steel front grille mounting surround from my 69 charger, and the next step will be to restore the plastic grille itself that mounts back into the steel frame. I’m looking for hints or tips on things like how to go about removing the fasteners that hold the stainless trim...

    Opinions from bodywork pros

FWIW….was told, trunk pan and floor pans were replaced. Here’s the write up on the body condition…. I know, it should be looked at. I just don’t know much about bodywork except that fact its extremely expensive… “BODY: rear quarters were done a few years back and needs some grinding on weld...

    Opinions from bodywork pros

You'll need to look at it first hand, and up close. Those images stink. A screen shot of a thumbnail image is a poor image, IMO. A common issue on these 50+ year old cars that can be costly to repair is the interior floor pan, and the trunk bottom. Surface rust is fine, but indicates it's...

Recommendations on a 2 post lift

I have 12' 4" ceiling height, the top of the posts are 7" down from the ceiling. As others have said you want the cables going over the top to keep the floor clear. It is a 10K and it is installed on a 4 inch thick slab. I put braces on the top to keep the posts from moving and possibly walking...

    Alcohol in gas

It's 35 degrees out. 10% ethanol in the gas, even the winter blend ain't cutting it. Plus the heat riser is inoperative. Before this summer the car hasn't been fueled since the mid 90's. I've been running the engine just this year on gasohol, and I needed to start it today to get stabilizer in...

    What's it Worth 70 GTX

Numbers motor and trans? Buildsheet? Picture of fender tag? Most 4.10 4spd cars aren’t numbers trans and motor. So look at stampings REALLY close. Is your inspector a dedicated Mopar car with years of experience? That car has all the right options for a 440-4bbl car. Almost too good to be...

    Opinions from bodywork pros

The straight rad crossbar and okay looking trunk floor show promise but not the patched firewall. In my experience anything in primer is just covering a whole bunch of required labour. Expect it all to be bad. If it is close go have a look at it. If it isn't forget about it.
