This is just one reason why the OP should stop asking the question, get a measuring tape and straight edge and figure it out himself. Measure off existing wheel/tires/BS, do some simple math and be done with it. All the info/spec on new tires/wheels is available on line. It's not a difficult task.
I think perhaps a long road trip in Finland is like a day trip here in the western US. Here, you might expect to drive 75mph (120mph) for an entire day+ and I would prefer the 2.94s for long trips. For shorter trips, I would be happy with the 3.55 as long as I was running a tall (28 inch plus)...
It was really built similarly to almost all RWD cars of the time (and decades previous). The primary weakness was simply that the Pinto was so compact behind the rear axles that there was no crush zone around the tank.

I agree.
Napa generally has the most qualified and knowledgeable people and higher quality parts. Most mechanics shops around here use Napa and pass on the rest. You pay more at Napa because you are paying for the people and better quality parts. I mentioned earlier that when I do shop local, I...
Other than so many people not working on their own cars anymore, the internet parts suppliers are hard to beat and have taken a lot of business. I try and support one of the better family opened joints in town but many times they just have to order it too - why not just order it myself? I still...
I have KYBs on three of my cars, one only a year old, another about 12 years, another 19 years. They all still work fine... granted I don't drive them 10,000 mile per year! Maybe you got a bad set?
