I purchased two new rear drums for my 69 charger one had a weight and the other one didn't. I have a balancer
And the drum without the weight was out of balance. I added a weight and pop.rivet it on with some stainless steel rivets. Ya never know what you're getting nowadays.
I've been buying a few cans here and there , mostly from walmart. I know it's almost winter, but in florida we still need it. I guess it's being discontinued? Or they just won't let the general public buy it anymore? Google said its a ozone depleting gas? But so was r12 . Now you can buy a...
Put R134A in my 2000 dakota today. Was moving rocks today and worked up a sweat. Turned on the a/c and no coolness. What the F#@☆ ! Lost ALL Presure. Wouldn't hold a vacuum. So I pressurized the system and discovered a leak. Replaced the o-ring and done!
It's not winter here in Florida just...
I have a similar project in my future.
Dodge pathfinder 4x4 and a Dodge turtle top camper van. Will morph them together to have a 4x4 turtle top camper van. Pardon my jungle.
Thanks for the pic. I wonder what happens when the pump dies? Drill a hole to access the nut and afterwards find a cap to re-seal it? Or back In the day, replace the whole thermguard with a new one. ? Just wondering.........Nice engine compartment!
the top one with the black cap plug has been trimmed to fit a different style battery.
The lower one has been trimmed at the top right corner to clear the battery terminal. Aside from being trimmed, which one is correct for a 78 dodge magnum? Thanks in advance, Tony
I made most of locks on my 69 charger open with the ignition key. Even the trunk, glove box, and console. But not the gas cap. Take one apart , it's not that difficult. Additionally, I did have to modify the key blank to get the trunk lock to work. I will post a picture when I get back home...
I had a 70 charger back in the day with that option, I loved it. Turn the car off with the headlights on. Then turn the headlight switch off. And in 2.5 minutes the lights would turn off. But the headlight doors stayed open. At one point i did have a electrical gremlin. The did make the doors...
Heres my 78 magnum with a home made dual snorkel to the radiator core support. mimicing the drivers side fresh air ducting. Mirroring the drivers side oem plastic duct was a pain.
Took this picture from watching Dead Dodge Garage. It's a 70 superbird dana 60. Is this brake line correct? Because it looks like it would fit a 8.75 differential due to it being curved rather than angled.
I saved $300 once by buying parts from rock auto instead of buying them from advance. It was a radiator and electric fan and the radiator from rock auto was the heavy-duty version. Only thing was, I had to wait 3 days to get the parts. It $pays$ to shop around.
I have these two oem valances. The center brace slotted holes are angled differently. Different years maybe? And does it matter? Any experts have a clue?
