For my fuel injection, I made an electrical "OR" circuit, where I connected the "Start" and the "Run" wires together. This went to the ECU since it needed power for both start and run. To avoid backfeeding the start or run circuits, I put diodes in each of the wires feeding the connection.
As many of you know, I am a "drive them" type of guy.
Two weeks after it got a full restoration, I drove my 70 Road Runner across country (one way, 5,800 miles). Did it get a couple of rock chips and wear? Sure it did, but I wouldn't trade that trip for the world!
Besides other more "routine"...
My father-in-law used them for two of his Corvettes that were in a barn.
From what I saw, the car capsules work really well, and keep the cars really nice. The down side is that once filled with air, they take up a lot of space.

Having owned a 73 Road Runner (340) for 42...
My deepest condolences. My wife and I have only been married for 37 years, and I can't imagine losing her.
As others have said, and as painful as it must be, thank you for letting us know. I wish you and your family peace.
Caster is the measurement of how far back the spindle leans. If it is straight up and down (0 caster) the car turns very easy at slow speeds but it will become twitchy at higher speeds. The more positive caster (i.e. leaning backwards) you put in, the more the car will want to go straight. With...
I had a 73 Road Runner for 42 years that was purchased in 1979, so it was original except someone had put a 2 barrel carb on it to attempt to get better gas mileage during the gas crisis (wrong move, but that's what they did).
