    Appreciate the fix suggestions. If I was building or had any plans to take the engine out I'd definitely go for the nickle welding. What's really on my mind, is this something that needs to change my plans? Is this something that MUST be addressed immediately?

    Changing the starter on my 440 (lot of fun with headers), and saw the ear/lug (?) below the starter where the block bolts into the bellhousing is broken. Can someone tell me how big a deal this is?

    Starting issue

    Probably not going to be very original, but.... '71 Charger, currently with a 440. Had been turning over, but not catching. Found a leak on the ignition coil, so replaced it, as well as the battery. Fired immediately after, ran for a second and dies before finding idle. Guessing ignition coil...
