I was in a similar situation with my TKX from AP. Altho I have buckets with a console, I didn't like the position of the shifter. I did exactly what 1 wild R/T suggested and couldn't be happier. Great trans and love the performance. Nobody has even noticed it isn't my stock shifter.

Rob, I had these same questions. I simply could not get the things to fit properly. I hate to say it, but I currently left them off and will revisit this winter. The car looks terrific without them in there, but it does drive me crazy they are not in there LOL Anxiously waiting on your progress!
