All,
At one time I owned this 68 Ply Road Runner (86-88 ish). I bought my daughter home from the hospital in it...The first car horn she ever heard was the RR horn. :) The Vin is RM21H8G217045. I'd like to reunite this stuff with the car. If you own this car. Send a reply to this post (PM)...
Can I replace the 1964 Ply Sport Fury OEM wiper pivots and wiper blade arms with the later style from a 66 C-body? I hoping someone can tell me if they will bolt in. Not looking to change the wiper movement. But rather change the way the wiper arm is attached. My original wiper arms and...
1965ply,
I got the 23055 hose from Amazon. Here is the link.
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=gates+20355+hose&ref=nb_sb_noss.
If not, Oreille's auto has them. If you want I can sell you mine for what it cost me plus 2.50 for shipping? That beats it sitting on my shelf rotting away.
PM me if...
Help! I've researched/search this forum and others looking for this upper radiator hose. I'm looking for a number I can go into Napa/Auto-Zone/Advance/etc. I have what looks like this exact situation(see upper hose example picture). My upper radiator hose is just to the passenger side of the...
All,
Been working on my 64 Sport Fury (493 stroker, with max wedge repo exhaust manifolds, 4 speed and front disks) and I have a concern. The power steering pressure line which comes into the steering box is only about 3/8" from the bottom of the exhaust manifold. The box has a fitting which...
Looking Good!
Can't go wrong with a MP cam, but technology and new cam designs have made huge improvements. May consider a aftermarket company for a cam. Have you considered stroking the 383 (440 crank into the 383 or...), or sourcing a 440? The RB 440 makes lots more torque and the build...
Congrats! But a bit of caution. Don't be in a huge hurry to buy parts/stuff unless it's a rare part and/or you've been looking for a while. The 64 sport furys are not rare. Since we are building a daily driver, its ok to wait for the next part...most often it'll be cheaper or in better...
Thanks. I've called them. They may have one for me. :-) However, until I have one in my hands, I'll keep looking. Would prefer an original piece though. :-)
Looking for a decent 4 speed console top plate for a 64 Plymouth Sport fury. I have the console. Would be willing to trade my automatic top plate w/auto shifter and maybe some cash.
Keith
Nothing crazy, just a 64 Plymouth Sport Fury. The car was an automatic(with console/tach) big block car. Currently the car is without an engine/transmission and the rest of the drivetrain needs to be rebuilt. We have a 72 440 warranty block at the machine shop. The block was bare except the...
