I just read through 11 pages of your project. I have to say that you have done an awesome job. Well done. Looks like you took your time and did stuff right. That takes a lot of patience (which I don't have) and time (which I also don't always have). Was fun to read through and see it come together.
I heard they were using live rounds in the gun for target shooting in between takes, and they must have missed the safety check.
My policy is to check every firearm I handle. Even at the gun shop or Cabelas, if the employee hands me a gun to look at, I automatically check it. Not because I...
Welcome from coastal Georgia. I am a transplant from Minnesota. I spent most of my life in the Duluth Area. I am happy to be down here now. If I never have to shovel snow or see temps below freezing again, I will be good with that. Nice looking car you have there. MN has a great group of classic...
I agree. I have trouble getting past the whole "Rustoleum" thing. It could be useful for painting those odds and ends that you just want to throw a coat of black paint on, but I am not sure a 24" spray pattern is the best for those items.
Well, Holy ****. I am not sure if we can type the word **** in here or if it will get flagged. So, sorry if the word **** is a violation.
Anyway, with the info from the links 72RRGTX posted, the wiring diagram and a little patience, I was able to find the old radio plug (radio was removed when...
I am a huge fan of spray bombing stuff. I have built a few motorcycles and painted the tins with spray cans from Roth and other vendors that seem like decent quality and have gotten pretty good results (With a lot of prep). I have seen these Rustoleum cans at the store and I am always tempted to...
Thanks. I’m going to try to spend some time with it today in between my daughters soccer and my sons golf match. I may have to draw out the circuit just so I have a better idea of how it runs (sometimes it helps me understand it better). I’m hoping to do this without removing the dashboard...
Grew up in northern MN, moved to an island off the coast of Georgia. Hardest part was moving away from family and friends, and losing our support structure. But, we don’t regret it at all. Taxes are better, people are better and best of all, it was 31 degrees back home and 89 degrees here today...
Wish I had seen this sooner. I live to the south on St Simons Island. My car isn’t operable right now, but I’d love to come up some time. Even if it’s in my truck or on my motorcycle. Just nice to see other Mopar folks in coastal GA.
I searched, but couldn’t find what I was looking for exactly.
Anyway, the turn signals haven’t ever worked on the 72 that I picked up a few months back. The hazards work. I figured it was an issue with the switch, so I replaced that. They still don’t work.
So, I broke out the wiring diagram...
Back hoe bucket?? I take back what I said :) Only fancy people have a back hoe. The rest of us just have a bunch of leftover 2X4's and some drywall screws to build an engine hoist :) Of course, I am kidding. I would love to have a back hoe.
I just read through the better part of all 77 pages of this post. Ghostrider, you have done an amazing amount of work and it is really coming together. Nice work on that. I wish I had your drive and skill. One other thing that caught my attention is that it does not appear you have a big fancy...
