Here's what I did...I installed an inline check valve off of the vent tube. That way, as pressure builds inside of the tank, the valve will open and release the pressure/fumes into the atmosphere. That helped a ton with the raw fuel smell.
Fellow Scamp owner. Mine is a small block but I've got 1-7/8" primaries and it's TIGHT in there.
My return line is pretty close to the headers so I wrapped them in thermal sleeving and it's worked great.
I don't think people understand the scale of the devastation from this storm.
My wife went to Blowing Rock, NC in 2022 to look at real estate for us. Many of the areas that she visited are still underneath flood waters with no ETA of when services will be restored.
It's very sobering to see an...
I'm a few years out from retirement but I'm working 8hrs a week at a friend's carbon fiber/injection molding shop learning new skills for when I do.
Eventually I'd like to make prosthetic limbs for people when I retire. It's something that has always fascinated me. And I'd get to fix people...

Now that makes a lot of sense...we were wondering how they kept it so clean inside.
You're not kidding. There wasn't a spec of dust on anything. And my seasonal allergies went away when we were in there. As soon as I walked outside - BAM - uncontrollable sneezing.
The Curator we met with said they usually have 2 events per year where the public can purchase tickets. First come, first served and they go quickly. However, he didn't mention what the dates were or how much it costs.
If I can find out those specs, I'll PM you. It's definitely worth the trip.
While I agree with you, it is a bit sad that these cars have become exhibits and are never driven - there's an investment side to it. All of these cars have appreciated significantly since they were first purchased. So if we reduce them down to monetary value, the owners of this facility have an...
In 1969, Pontiac made 8 Trans Am Convertibles with the iconic white and blue scheme. They own 4 of them.
As well as a myriad of other Pontiac products.
Don Prudhomme's Funny Car
They had a bunch of Ford Super Stock cars. (These are the actual cars, not tributes)
