Great news on the Bilsteins! I have a 69 Charger RT that needs new shocks bad. Can you share any info on them (part#?) and where did you purchase them? These would be stock replacement shocks right? Thanks!
Hey Don F., FYI - the Mancini Racing lead for a anti-rattle spring did not work out. I searched their website and gave them a call and that part number can't be found. Curious where you got that screen shot? Anyway, thanks for thinking about me though!
I have been changing oil on a 1969 Charger RT 440 for 50 years now (purchased from my dad in 74) and it is easy as heck. The problem is once the filter is disconnected oil goes everywhere, I mean everywhere, have plenty of rags and an oil container handy. Once all the oil is drained from the...
Since I have owned this car for the past 50 years (purchased from father in 1974), I have been fighting a clicking sound at idol coming from the passenger side exhaust (440 with stock exhaust manifolds, original stock engine). I think it is called a heat riser? The way I have fixed in the past...
So if KYB's are so bad, what is the choice replacement shock for a 69 Charger RT? KYB's have been on my 69 Charger for 30 years+. Want to put some fresh new on. Thanks!

Thanks Richard for the feedback. I purchased it from my Dad in 1974 with 33K on the clock, T7 440 Automatic center console with air. He purchased it new off the showroom floor at Valley Dodge in Van Nuys, CA. in May of 69. All stock except Mopar electronic ignition. 2nd paint done 40 years ago...
Hey all! Newbie here. After searching the web site for several hours, it looks like I have two options to replace my 30 year old Firestone FR480 F-70/14 white wall tires on my 69 Dodge Charger RT. Coker & Diamondback. They both look to have good reviews, leaning towards Diamondback since they...
Hello all! Tim from Chandler, AZ. Really awesome I found this site. My Dad was a Mopar man and like father like son. My first car was a 62 Dodge Dart 318. Many more Mopar's followed. The car I have now and since 1974 is a 1969 Dodge Charger RT 440 Magnum T7 which I purchased from my Dad for...
