    My torsion bar removal tool.

    This worked great for me! I drilled a 1" hole in about a foot long 2×4 and a few holes for bolts perpendicular to that and cut the thing in half. Just fasten the thing to the torsion bar and hammer away! Simple, it works and most people would have the materials on hand.
