I am interested in seeing pictures of short shifters in 68-70 B bodies. I am very familiar with the pistol grip and what it looks like but I would like to see what a shorter shifter looks like in one.

Has anyone done this (removing the tailgate)? What is involved? I know there is a large pivot nut/stud (I have already removed the nut). It seems like there is a large bracket on the left side but I'd like to hear from anyone who has actually done it.
