1977 Chrysler Cordoba

Some beginner pics. Will be adding more later.

About this Mopar:

One family owned until my purchase on 9/15/2016. Has 11,274 original miles. All belts, hoses, plug wires, brakes, etc. are as it left the factory. Hoses, vacuum lines, and all seals still in nearly new condition. Has a 400-4barrel,T-tops,Crown Roof package, buckets, console, leather,pb,ps,pw,pl,p deck release, rear defogger,AC,AM/FM stereo 8-track,dress up package, road wheels, etc. I also have the original window sticker. Base price was a little over $5400 and out the door was over $9100. Never driven in winter, hardly driven period, lol, rust free, besides tires and battery basically everything 100% original. I know not many people probably restoring these cars yet, but if anyone needs a reference picture or a part number, I will do my best to help.

It's not the "Lean Burn" engine then. Noted by the computer mounted on the air cleaner. Friend had one in 77', dual exhaust no cat.

Yes, it is lean burn. I believe the 400 motor you are referencing is the HO one. Mine is a step down from that.

Wow. Awesome find. Do you know the cars' "story"?
Original owner passed away about 20 years ago and it was then owned by his daughter, who I purchased it from. Her dad told her mom(who is still alive)not long after the car was purchased new "we are not going to drive this car much, it is very special". Thankfully they stayed the course. Was always garaged and never driven in the winter. Was sold new at Harold Motors,Inc. in Olympia Fields,Illinois. Was an Illinois car up until my purchase.

Beautiful, beautiful car, and fantastic find! My dad bought a new '77 Charger {basically same car} which was the cheap version on the "CORDOBA", and I loved driving that car. Ocassionally look for a nice one still in the back of my mind! You probably want to keep this low mileage I assume, but please drive it, as that is what cars were made for! It doesn't do vehicles any good sitting too much! Good luck with it!!

Thank you! I am doing some repairs and some probably long overdue maintenance now and continuing into the winter. Fuel tank was sent out to be done, sending unit is out for a rebuild, just changed the rear fluid and gasket. Will probably do a tranny service and still tossing around the idea of doing the radiator. Want to try to have everything done by the spring. Yes, the car will be driven but I am still going to try to keep the miles down.

Beautiful car, from a low point in Chrysler history, make sure you do drive it, low mileage is great, but i don't think putting some miles on it will hurt the value. How often do you get a chance to drive a "new car that's almost 40 years old. This would be great car to use in movies, it's great time capsule.

Sweet Cordoba!!! I didn't know you could get one with T-tops. I saw my first Diplomat with T-tops this summer

Thanks! Know any producers, maybe I can earn some of the money back I spent to purchase it,lol!!

Besides all original and low mileage, the T-tops were THE biggest thing on my "want" list. Of the 163,138 '77 Cordobas built, only 3,672 came with "T"'s. Not much over 2% of production.
