69 Dodge Coronet (back from the dead), 31 Ford Pickup Rat Rod, 66 Check C10, 66 Ford Mustang
About this Mopar:
Dad bought this new in 1969 - he had a one year old and no money for more hot rods!! I got it from Dad in 1984 and drove it until 1986, then left for college. It went into Grandma's garage until Oct 2020. Now she resides in Colorado and is slowly being brought back to life. Car was hit in left rear by a duffushead in roughly 1985. Fixed by mid 80's standards at roughly the same time. We ran water in the radiators in southern California back then so if I can figure out how to upload the pics, I'll include a beautiful pic of what remains of the thermastat. Its a pretty clean car but need floorboards. Its got stuff rear springs now and 1.03 torsion bars on order. Front end rebuild comes next then I'll return to the motor. The 318 currently runs but needs help. Fun car. Lots of memories. One family since new. The pull from California was my first real car pull, and we had a standard poodle pup in the back seat with a broken foot that occurred just before we pulled out. 23 straight hours on the road. Dang near too much for me. Sure am enjoying this site. Zoom in on the gas cap to see the carcasses of time. The motor didn't look too bad after sitting for so long - on the outside anyway. The little 2 barrel is about as simple as they come. Tossed in a picture of the rat rod cause she's hand built but the focus now is coronet.
