Northeast 300

1979 Chrysler 300

About this Mopar:

With 84,000 miles as of May 1st 2016 I have a lot more fun miles to go! I bought it in the summer of 2014 for $1,400 and after a complete front end rebuild, new dual exhaust, a tune up and new tires I am into this somewhat rare car for under $5,000! I have tried to research as much as I can and learned that there were 5,500 slated to be built per order for the US market and only 3,811 were ordered and sold. I have a letter from the Chrysler Historical department that stated the 300's were not numbered and were built per order along with all other Cordoba's in '79. It's not the fastest or best looking 300 out there but it draws attention wherever I go!

Lots of Style There.
I Had a 78 with a 400 4 bbl
used to whoop up on iroc z Camaro all day.
Was very funny kinda a sleeper

Ah, I remember those days. Pretty dismal days for performance cars back then, but these 300s always struck me as the classiest, most handsome on the road.
How's that Lean Burn system working for you? Ever considered swapping it out for good ol' Mopar Performance electronic ignition?

Awesome!! I have two. My wifes is stock with 29K on the odometer. Mine isn't stock, but runs 10.50's @ 128mph.

I have actually taken the lean burn off since, I now have an edlebrock carb on it. Runs great and I am also thinking about upgrading to electronic ignition as well
