11,400 some odd days

Congratulations! I pulled the plug a couple of years ago, can’t believe how much better I sleep.

You're gonna wake up in the morning and wonder what day it is. You're gonna wake up in the morning and not care what day it is! I've got more to do now than when I was working! Oh, and you're the boss. You can take a break and have a cup of coffee anytime you want.

Congratulations, I stopped counting haw many years, months or days I have left. I now focus on how many paychecks, it puts planning into perspective. It’s getting close.

Congratulations moparwacko! Here's to many happy years in retirement!

Congratulations on making it to retirement @moparwacko - similar game to me, but I couldn't do the Lineman thing. Much prefer being a regular Industrial Sparkie now. I guess I have a few more years before I can settle in to late morning starts, and getting on with my hobbies.

Make the most of every day.....and enjoy yourself.

I got you beat by another 4,300 days.
Wow, did you start working when you were 7?

I was just counting my time in the power utilities trade. I probably could add another 4 years working at a AMC/JEEP dealer as a parts man/mechanic. I learned a lot from the old guys there.
This will give me time to build another car- 67- 69 Dart? 66-67 Coronet? Jeep CJ? AMC Gremlin? Options are open.....

Welcome to retirement! I sure enjoy mine and hope you do too.
Mike

You’re lucky! I’ve got the idea that I’ll stop when I can’t go anymore.. Min. 20 years, I lost most of my retirement from teamsters pension fund going insolvent and now Biden has given it a hand and the government determines the situation..Sucks

I started working at my job in November 1978.

I am now officially an old geezer. Immediate plans are to go buy a 74 Buick Centurion and drive 43 mph in the passing lane with my left blinker on wearing those huge sunglasses.:D
You forgot the fedora, and the sandals with black socks...

Congratulations!

Congrats, I passed that mark last march.
Still working but not sure why.
