Good for you! I’m thinking I have 1 more year in me, and I’m cutting ties with work.
Congratulations on making it to retirement @moparwacko - similar game to me, but I couldn't do the Lineman thing. Much prefer being a regular Industrial Sparkie now. I guess I have a few more years before I can settle in to late morning starts, and getting on with my hobbies.
Make the most of every day.....and enjoy yourself.
Wow, did you start working when you were 7?11,400 some odd days
I got you beat by another 4,300 days.

I was just counting my time in the power utilities trade. I probably could add another 4 years working at a AMC/JEEP dealer as a parts man/mechanic. I learned a lot from the old guys there.
This will give me time to build another car- 67- 69 Dart? 66-67 Coronet? Jeep CJ? AMC Gremlin? Options are open.....
You forgot the fedora, and the sandals with black socks...I am now officially an old geezer. Immediate plans are to go buy a 74 Buick Centurion and drive 43 mph in the passing lane with my left blinker on wearing those huge sunglasses.
Buy some land and a real tractor... you can stay busy!
