Looks like it's been de-chromed.

That means a couple dozen or more small areas of filler (or welds if they did it "right").

Wonder what other body work has been done.

I guess I'll have to make the 4hr trip to look at it....was trying to get as much info and advice before the trip to make it worth the trip.....
Did you mean dechromed so the trim holes had been filled?
As far as possible "other body work ", suggestions what to look for?
