I have no fuel gauge, no temp gauge working, no lights in the dash working, including turn signal indicators and bright light Indicator.I can make the cluster lights work by jumping a wire in the fuse box but nothing else so I know the bulbs are good. It has a new fuel sending unit and new temp sensor in it but I have no voltage to them. Any ideas?

I'm also getting power from the key to the dash but nothing out to the temp sensor or fuel sending unit.

Sounds like you have a broken connection somewhere. When I first got my 66 up and running my fuel gauge wasn't working. I reached up behind the dash and move the connector around a little and it started working. You may need to take the cluster out and test all of the connectors with a low voltage power source. The temp sensor and sending unit works off of ground resistance.

Isn't there some sort of resistor on the back of the cluster?

It has a voltage limiter. In the beginning all vehicles had 6 volt charging systems and gauges.
When the 12 volt system came alone, mfgrs were faced with 2 options. Build 12 volt gauges or limit the power to 6 volts for the same gauges. 90 % opted for the 6 volt gauges and a voltage limiter. Which is what mopar did.

The regulator does NOT have anything to do with your dashlights. The voltage regulator is only for the fuel and temp gauges.

Probable culprits are bad bulb, dirty contacts, bad bulb holder, bad trace on circuit board. I would pull the cluster out clean copper where the bulb holder makes contact, clean the terminal pins where the harness plugs in, and clean the copper where the circuit board bolts to the dashface. And while you have the dash out replace every bulb so you don't have to go back as they fail one by one.

I can make the dash lights work by running a jumper wire so I know the bulbs are good and making connection. I think the dash lights may be bad headlight switch but the gauges I'm not sure...where is the voltage regulator for the dash located?

The voltage limiter is on back of the cluster. Here is a pic

Where on the cluster is it? Is there just one? Can I get it out without taking the cluster out?
