1967 383 Camshaft Question???

Im back and need to pick a cam for my beast
383 9:25 dished stock pistons /all else is stock 11.5 converter / 2:94 sure grip/ 4bbl
anyhow I am freshinging up this engine all stock with some new innerds
.425 intake / .435 exhaust 256 i 260e duration right now
Stuff all looked good but the cam is the piece I need some advise on replacement??? Sealed Power Mellings Comp Cams Howards .
What would be a good grind
I used to just use the stock Roadrunner Cam but is that too much for my combo?
Want it cool but just to get Ice Cream and Haul a Little ***

comp cams #21-305-4.

That # 21-305-4 is definitely a good cam in a stock or mildly built 383-440. I recently swap that in place of a comp thumper because I was tired of the noise a drivability. It has as much or more power as the thumper but with a nice smooth idle and it pulls 19 inches of vacuum. No more gas fumes and idling at 1000rpms. It also has great torque down low where you want it for a street car.
 
I looked up the specs on the 21-305-4 cam and that looks like a good one to me for a stock type build. It has total duration of 268/276 int/ex. Lift at valve is .464". I believe the Magnum cam had 268/286 duration. That should work great on a 9.25 to 1 C/R motor. Plenty of low end torque, and good idle.
 
I'm going to try one of Bob's cams in my 383. Bob as in Mr. 6 Pack Karakashian.
 
other options are the mopar 272-.455, and summit 6401. the stock magnum cam would never be a bad choice.
 
Crane also has a blueprint replacement cam .447 / .464 214/226 @.050 on a 115 LSA. Cant ask for a better idle than that. One notch above that is the H 272 which is .454/.480 216/228 @.050 on 112. Nice street cam, will get the ice cream home in plenty of time. Just might be better suited to a 3.23 instead
 
i built a 1967 383 ,installed single bolt the purple cam,now it walked and i dont know how to stop it from walking
