1968 Dodge Charger Drive Shaft

Will a drive shaft out of a 1966 Dodge Charger 383, 727 transmission fit in a 1968 Dodge Charger 318, 904 transmission, if I use the correct yoke for the 904 transmission? Thanks!

I believe they are different length ,SB vs BB. And the 318 car might have the 8 1/4 rear end

No. The 904 and 727 are different lengths.

SB = small block; BB = big block. Used across manufacturers, too SBC/Chevy, SBF/Ford, SBM/Mopar. etc.

Really shouldn't be an 8-1/4 in a '68 unless swapped in, but good to check.
