1970 Road Runner Performance Hood Paint question?

Did the 70 road runner performance hood paint option come in white, or was it always a flat black? Thanks, G

Never white, but the black wasn't really flat. It was more of a satin finish, usually organisol.

I've seen some white treatments in magazines where it mentioned that the owner wanted something different...and it didn't look bad.

color is a personal issue, you can do what you enjoy

my 1968 with silver hood stripes black body, kinda of a raider football team motief, I was told,

Does anyone know how the hood stripes were done on black cars? were they just the satin black on top of gloss or something different, cant find any good pic's. Did see one with like silver metallic hood stripes on black and looked good.
