Guys - what color did the exhaust tip hangers come from the factory?
I'm prepping mine and want to paint them the same color.

I would imagine just like that in bare steel, ready to rust. RPM them or dip them in Boeshield T9

Not sure they were "bare".

Correct color, but coated with something.

I've had a set laying around unprotected for at least 15 years and there's no rust at all on them.

Wayne, I have the RPM stuff but am not too fond of it.
I do not have any of the Boeshield T9....but I do have this stuff, is it the same?

I've got a bunch of sample bottles of ACF-50 around here somewhere... probably work just fine. RPM is a pain as it has to be heated to apply, but I did my entire Bee with it and it does work.

What is "lubrification"?

I had a guy on my crew who said "authentificate" instead of "authenticate".

Was he right, too?

How about the guy that said "Pentenium" instead of "Pentium"?

Those two guys drove me crazy.
