I just picked this one up last weekend near Binghamton, NY.

Been having a hell of a time locating a sunroof seal for my 79 300. Finally got a hold of Jake Kelley of Kelley's Sunroof parts down in Tampa. He had the seals and knew exactly what I needed and what kind of roof the 79 had. Great guy to talk with and obviously been around a long time. He was impressed about the 79 saying very few had the Sunroof option so that was nice to know. I have his contact number if anyone needs his help. Carries lots of inventory for ASC roofs.

Just added this one, SS22L9R181576, from Kentucky today. It falls in at #86 of 202. It looks to be in decent shape, running and driving! The owner has since swapped out the factory wheels for aftermarket wheels but still looking good! Added bonus for the Lil Red Express in the background!

I spoke to Vanessa at Wildcat about a few parts on the Sunroof car but unfortunately had to buy the whole car to get the few bits I needed. Price is reasonable if I lived in the area.

I was looking for "small bits" a few years ago for my 79-300 and found a MOPAR graveyard in Ohio that will pull and send you what you need. He specializes in C-Bodies but has a few late 70's B-bodies once and a while. At the time he had 3 or 4 cars that he was able to scavange for me.

Here's the link, his name is Murray Park

Know Murray by reputation only from over at FCBO but maybe he has what I am after. DVAP came up dry BTW.

Are all 79 300s sequential VIN?

No. See the VIN listing in post #88. The range of VINs is much greater than the production numbers for the Cordoba "300 option package".

Listing 1979 Chrysler 300 - This 300 was an option and it was only produced in limited numbers. This particular car is equipped with a very "Rare Factory Sunroof". Veh has been in storage for approx 23 years. Vehicle is approx 90% original. Body appears to be a Cordoba platform. I have no knowledge of mechanical condition when vehicle was stored. Please study photos carefully as there is some rust throughout roof and back window area. Based on duration of storage and outside storage, Veh will need some mechanical and body work as seen in photos.
Title is clean and keys are available. Veh has been in non-op status for many years. This vehicle deserves to go into a "Mopar Collectors" garage.

1979 Chrysler 300/ Cordoba - $3500 (Philadelphia)

https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/d/abington-1979-chrysler-300-cordoba/6946984336.html

I'm sell my 1979 Chrysler 300 that I purchased from the original owner's wife. It's a low mile example of Chrysler attempt to resurrect the iconic name plate of the 50's and 60's. These vehicles came White with Red interior for US buyers and this one is nicely equipped with factory Tach, Console with bucket seats and the police issued 360 engine with dual exhaust. The motor was started after the oil pump was primed to make sure it wasn't seized. This vehicle has exceptional low miles and has been in storage for 22 years. It's an unmolested 300 with it's original motor and trans per the owner's wife. It even has the heat shield for the starter. The pictures tell the story it will need some TLC however it's a great base to start with. The floors, trunk and body are in good condition considering it's age. I have owned some unique Mopars in my days and this one is up and coming. Thank you for viewing. Give me a call to arrange a showing.
