Well the car it's going in is not a hemi car so I'm not picky as to what block
A warranty block would be nice. As for new castings which ones are good
Or bad
Only one made. Distributoed by World Castings or Mopar.
1. The Mopar block is made by an english company for Mopar. it is Hi Nickle and available in ruff bore. The block with the 5100 series part number is the street block at $3700.00 The best supplier is Mancini Racing for Iron block. Or the Alumuinum block from World Castings at 5700.00 can be used on Street application. Mopar made a series of blocks in the 5000 part number range these early blocks cracked and had all kinds of issues. You can still find "good deals on the "5000 series blocks on ebay but for the money you will spend, it is a crap shoot.
