I videoed this car last week sitting at a local repair shop. It’s rare to come across these especially in this condition. I think this is a Royal Lancer but not sure. Anyway I thought you guys would enjoy seeing this oldie. Click the photo to open the video
56 Dodge sedan. Hemi powered

Thats actually a 55 Lancer with a 270 red Ram. I owned a 2 dr hdtop just like that. Same color too. Gear shift lever on the dash. Mine was a clean original Alberta car .

Thanks for the video Bob.
Someone mention a Red Ram? I have a locked up 241. Hard to believe a Hemi so small.

Is it a Lancer or Royal Lancer since it’s a three tone

That is cool.
That 56 Dodge is cool. My uncle had one like that back in the day. I wasn't even a teenager yet but I remember the car. Probably the first Mopar I paid attention to.

Thanks for the video Bob.

I had the 241 poly in my ‘55 pickup. With that design you could swap the heads, poly to hemi or vice versa. The intake stayed the same, I think the cam stayed the same, the exhaust manifolds changed. The compression was so pathetic the pistons were nearly identical.

Here’s a 56 Lancer that I was parked next to about a month ago. Owner said it had a 440 in it, but never opened the hood. Pretty nice car. Him and the guy that was with him have a half dozen of these cars in various stages.

You got a picture of the aqua ,white top one beside the silver GM?

I owned this 55 up till about 7 years ago. So I could purchase a 68 California special. I know against the grain. But a good choice on my part.
