My 62 Dart has 6 leaf, rear, springs, on both sides. -- It sits too high, and I would like to lower it 2", possibly a litt more. -- Any suggestions re removing leafs ? -- Tires are 235-60-15s -- Probably will change to larger.

Looks like it's sitting high for a reason. I can't tell for sure from the picture, but are you going to have tires rubbing on the fenderwells if you lower it? Bigger tires on the back may require different backspaceing and rim size.

I had Superstock springs in my '62, sat way too high so I used lowering blocks to bring it down.

Plan on 8" steelies. They allow more back spacing, than current wheels.
